Head Coach & Owner33 years on the mats
Coach Marcel Ferreira has 33 years of experience teaching men, women and children.
He is a 6th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary coach and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu extraordinaire, Carlson Gracie.
Marcel started his journey as a coach in 1994, teaching Jiu-Jitsu in an after-school program in Brazil. Since then, he has become a head coach and owner of 5 martial arts gyms — specializing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and self-defense.
Coach Marcel has produced numerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA world champions. But he considers his biggest accomplishment the Muay Thai fitness gym he owned and operated in Brazil — where he mostly taught self-defense, how to get into better shape, and coached pro-fighters.
